Coming up
A few things to look forward to this summer.
Summer Communities
The Living Room · Suite 6, downstairs
We gather every Tuesday through the summer. This week we’re dwelling in the Word together, downstairs in the Living Room (Suite 6)—come slow down, open the Scriptures, and be with the people around you. New here? This is a good place to start.
The Story of the Bible with Tim Mackie
Mitby Theater · Madison College
Spend an evening with Tim Mackie, co-founder of BibleProject. He’ll share the story behind the project and how the Bible invites us into a journey of formation—toward wisdom and a deeper way of living. It’s free, but you’ll need to register, and bring your whole party in with you.
Prayer & Worship Night
The sanctuary
Prayer and worship night is back, and it’s moving to Tuesdays. Come be with God, reflect, and set your tone heading into the next month.
- Tue, Jun 30
- Tue, Jul 28
- Tue, Sep 1
Sunday at the Table
Around the table
Once a month we gather around tables for a shared meal. Come as you are, sit with someone new, and stay a little longer.
- Sun, Jun 28
- Sun, Jul 26
- Sun, Aug 30
Sabbath Sunday
A week to rest
On July 5 we’re taking a Sabbath—there’s no Sunday gathering. Use the morning to slow down, be with the people you love, and be with God. We’ll gather again the following Sunday.
Places to serve
Ways to love our neighbors with your hands this season.
Serve dinner at Enso
Enso Residences
Each Monday a small team shops for, cooks, and shares a home-cooked meal with 15–30 of our neighbors at Enso, a local supportive housing community. No cooking experience needed—bring your heart and helping hands.
Good Neighbor Gathering
Brittingham Park
Our free, family-friendly community festival is one of the biggest ways we get to love our city. Lend a hand and help us serve our neighbors—there’s a place for everyone.
Summer Communities
We gather Tuesdays at 6:45 PM, downstairs in the Living Room (Suite 6). Each week looks a little different—here’s the rhythm for the summer, so you know what you’re walking into. Prayer & Worship Nights meet upstairs in the sanctuary.
Add all upcoming to calendarHeads up: North Shore Drive is closed
North Shore Drive, coming from John Nolen, closes at 5:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, and is expected to stay closed through mid-July. South Broom Street is your alternative route in. Give yourself a few extra minutes on the way so you’re not rushing through the door.
